Club Rules

VISITORS

Clubhouse Members are expected to ensure that their guests comply with Club policies.

COURSE

A member may introduce only one visitor on Public Holidays and one visitor every four (4) Sundays before 10.00 am   A Member may introduce a maximum of three (3) visitors on a week day or after 10.00 am on Public Holidays and Sundays. It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that green fees are paid prior to play. [A member not complying with this is liable to an automatic one months’ suspension from the Club]. The Member must play with the visitor(s) introduced.

PRACTICE

Practice on the course is limited to a single player hitting a second ball. Such practice shall not interfere with any other player following. The practice fairway is available at all times in accordance with details on signs placed near the practice fairway.  Use of Practice facilities are not linked to playing rights.  All members may use practice fairway, putting green or nets without restriction.  Practice from the first Tee is not permitted without written permission of Manager or Captain.

MEMBERSHIP DISCS

MUST BE attached to golf bags. NOTE: Discs should have Member’s name and current year’s sticker clearly displayed. Replacement discs are available from the Club Office. Blue discs apply to Category A and Country Members. Green discs apply to Category B, Veteran and Junior Members. Yellow discs apply to Category C and Pensioner Members.

NEIGHBOUR’S PROPERTIES

Entering a neighbour’s property to retrieve a ball or using an extended retrieval device to retrieve a ball is NOT permitted. [A member not complying with this is liable to an automatic one months’ suspension from the Club].

TELEPHONES

Mobile Phones may be used in Lounge or Dining Room only if such use is in a manner that does not interfere with other members quiet enjoyment of facilities.

ALCOHOL

The consumption of alcohol on the course during play is permitted providing Members maintain conduct which does not impose on other players. Excessive abuse of this privilege will attract disciplinary action by the Board. The Board may impose restrictions during certain events.

NOTE: Players not conforming to the guidelines available from the office shall be requested to leave the Clubhouse and/or Course. ALL MEMBERS, and the Club Professional and his staff, have the responsibility to police the regulations.

SLICKS

Slick tyres [wide flat minimum 60mm wide] are required on golf buggies.

Any suggestions should be submitted, in writing, to the Manager.
